The following goals were addressed in the development of this curriculum:
• To introduce the C# programming language to college students in the easiest possible way through the implementation of games.
• To provide a guide to teaching and learning the C# programming language through the use of graphic and non-graphic applications.
• To present C# topics in a non-traditional way that is more engaging to students by using computer game programming and development as a solid base.
• To develop students’ thinking and problem solving skills by providing practical, hands-on examples.
• To show how C# concepts can be effectively used and demonstrated in realistic simulations.
• To integrate C# into high school academic programs.
